Man Defrauds Walmart out of $1.3M

Last Wednesday, Yuma, Arizona, Police arrested Thomas Frudaker, 23, on what they had thought would be an ordinary case of fraudulent return to Walmart. With some investigating, this proved not to be the case. Frudaker had bought a computer, removed several parts, and then returned the computer without the parts.

Allegedly, Frudaker had done this same scheme earlier in the day and had done it to over 1000 Walmarts over a period of 18 months. It is estimated that his fraudulent actions, he had caused approximately $1.3 million in losses to Walmart.

Frudaker is awaiting arraignment at Yuma County Detention Center and currently faces two counts of theft, two counts of fraudulent schemes/artifices, and two counts of criminal damage.
